This week in RE, our Year 2 children have been learning about Christingles and what they represent in the Christian faith. The children explored the meaning behind each part of the Christingle — the orange, candle, red ribbon and sweets — and discussed how they symbolise God’s love, light and the world.

They then worked wonderfully to create their own Christingles, showing great care, creativity and understanding.
