Today, our Year 3 and Year 4 children enjoyed a fantastic visit to Marsden Primary School as part of our Building Bridges project.
For many of the children, it was a lovely reunion. Our Year 4 pupils were excited to see friends they first met last year, while Year 3 were thrilled to reconnect with children they worked with back in November. There were smiles all around as friendships were quickly rekindled.
During the day, the children were split into four mixed teams and took part in a carousel of activities. These included energetic sports games, creative music sessions, building sturdy bridges using paper and craft materials, and designing rain soundscapes inspired by different types of weather. Each activity encouraged teamwork, communication and problem solving.
We were incredibly proud of how well our children worked alongside their Marsden partners. They showed kindness, confidence and fantastic cooperation throughout the day. Most importantly, they loved chatting, sharing ideas and building new friendships.
A brilliant day of learning and collaboration. We cannot wait for the next Building Bridges event!
