Years 1, 3, 4 and 5 showcased their gymnastics learning by creating and performing their own routines. Each class worked hard to put their skills to the test and the results were fantastic.
Pupils had to include a range of gymnastics skills within their routines. These included balancing, travelling and linking movements together smoothly. They also had to think carefully about the order of their actions to create a routine that flowed well from start to finish.
Alongside the physical skills, the children demonstrated excellent teamwork and sportsmanship. They worked cooperatively, listened to one another’s ideas and supported their teammates throughout rehearsals and performances.
The adults from each class thoroughly enjoyed watching these incredible performances and were very proud of the effort, focus and enthusiasm shown by all pupils. Well done to everyone involved for such an impressive gymnastics showcase.
