Today in Forest School, our little explorers in EYFS buzzed with excitement as they hunted for minibeasts under logs and in a wide variety of other places, marvelling at the tiny creatures they discovered in their natural habitats. The children then gathered twigs, leaves, and stones to create imaginative animals, fostering a deep connection to the earth. Whether they were building confidence by climbing low-hanging branches, carefully planting seeds to learn about life cycles or sifting soil in a riddle, every activity encouraged resilience and curiosity. This not only helps to build physical strength but also sparks a lifelong love for the great outdoors.
