It was time to harvest the grapes in our polytunnel! Our grapevine has produced an incredible crop this year, with grapes hanging all along the vine and ready to be picked.
The children worked hard cutting down all the bunches, ready for them to be washed and prepared for a very important taste-testing session!
The grapes were then taken out into the school yard at break time, giving children across the school the chance to have a taste. And they certainly got the thumbs up - “sweet and delicious” was the verdict!
It’s lovely to see something grown in our school garden being enjoyed by so many children. What a fantastic harvest!
