Our second group of Reception children were excited to return to our village library this week. What better way to continue our Book Week celebrations than with another library visit!
The children enjoyed spending time looking through lots of wonderful books and sharing stories together. One of the books we discovered was about a sloth called Bob, which we later enjoyed during our ‘Swap a Teacher’ story session back at school.
Our young readers are becoming very confident using the library system and were fantastic at scanning their own books, a part of the visit they always enjoy.
After exploring and choosing carefully, everyone selected a book to take back to school to share with their friends.
A big thank you to Trawden Forest Community Centre, Library and Shop for another warm welcome. We always love our library visits!
