Today, Year 2 enjoyed a fantastic visit from Arian Worrell, who taught us all about Victorian seaside holidays. We learned how seaside trips became popular, what Victorians did at the beach and how they travelled there.
The children loved handling real artefacts and using them to learn about life in the past. To finish the day, we were treated to a traditional Punch and Judy show, just like Victorian holidaymakers would have enjoyed!
A wonderful day of hands-on history learning for Year 2!
