What an incredible weekend it’s been in our school garden!
As part of the Trawden Garden and Scarecrow Festival, we were delighted to open our school garden to visitors throughout the weekend.
We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the number of people who came to visit and by the countless kind words, encouragement and support we received. It was wonderful to welcome so many of you into our garden and to share the journey we’ve been on. Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us – your lovely comments and enthusiasm mean so much.
We are also incredibly proud to share that Trawden Forest Primary School was awarded 1st Place in the Community Group/Organisation Garden and 1st Place in the Basket and Container Category.
What a fantastic achievement for our school and a wonderful recognition of everything our school garden has become. More than just a place to grow plants, it has become a space where children learn new skills, build confidence, develop a love of nature and create lasting memories. We couldn’t be prouder to see it recognised in this way.
