Year 2 have been busy preparing for their upcoming local fieldwork walk around Trawden.
The children explored different types of maps and discussed their key features before looking closely at the route we will be taking. Working with their partners, they followed the route on a map and thought carefully about the human and physical features they might spot along the way.
There was lots of fantastic partner discussion, questioning and geographical enquiry as the children made predictions and mapped some of the features they expect to see.
We are now looking forward to putting our map skills into practice on our walk!
