Today, we were delighted to welcome so many families into school for our Macmillan Coffee Morning.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, enjoyed a drink and a cake and donated to such an incredible cause. The school was incredibly busy throughout the morning and it was lovely to see so many families spending time together.
Yesterday, our children came to school in non-uniform and brought in HUNDREDS of cakes to help us prepare for the event. We were amazed by the variety on offer, with everything from cupcakes and traybakes to biscuits, buns and plenty of delicious homemade creations!
One of the highlights of the morning was seeing the children being able to leave their classrooms for a little while to enjoy a drink and a cake with someone from their family. They absolutely loved having their parents, grandparents and other family members joining them in school and it created a really special atmosphere.
We will be sharing plenty of photographs from the morning, including pictures of many of the families who joined us.
Thank you once again to everyone who donated cakes, attended the event or contributed towards our fundraising. Your generosity and support helped to make the morning a fantastic success while raising money for the brilliant work of Macmillan Cancer Support.
