Y1 have been reading the story of the Three Little Pigs this week and how the pigs made their houses from different materials.
In our Forest School session we tried to make our own houses for the little pigs using materials we could find in the forest. The children worked well in pairs and discovered that building a house is not an easy task. However, they persevered and managed to make a variety of natural houses our little pigs can use.
It was pretty windy but I'm not sure if any of our houses would stand up to a big bad wolf huffing and puffing!
