What a way to finish the year!
Today, to celebrate our final day in school before the Christmas holidays and to say goodbye to our class elf Pickles, Year 3 took part in the Candy Cane Olympics!
The class were divided into 4 teams for the Olympic Games. Each team created their own name and designed their own flags to cheer their teammates on! We had: The Green Grinch Team, The Red Rudolph Team, The Yellow Star Team and The Blue Snowflake Team. They all worked wonderfully in their teams, showing fantastic teamwork and enthusiasm.
They played Candy Cane Stack, Blindfolded Snow Shovel, had to build snowmen out of marshmallows and even went fishing for candy canes! They all played fantastically and earned so many points for their teams, but the winners were... The Blue Snowflake Team!
