Our first group of Reception children were excited to return to our village library this week, ready to choose new books and continue their reading journey.
We spent time sharing stories together before the children confidently scanned their own books using the library computer, a part of the visit they always enjoy!
With our exciting new dinosaur topic beginning in school, there was lots of enthusiasm for choosing dinosaur books to bring back to the classroom. We can’t wait to dive into them and discover even more prehistoric facts and adventures.
There’s something very special about choosing your own book, and the children were so proud of their selections.
Thank you once again to Trawden Forest Community Centre, Library and Shop for welcoming us — a lovely way to spend a rainy morning and another step in nurturing our love of reading.
