Our Year 6 pupils brought stories to life this today at a special “Blankets and Pillows” book-sharing event with their EYFS buddies. Snuggled up in a cosy reading space filled with soft blankets and colourful cushions, the older children proudly read their favourite picture books to the youngest members of the school. The event not only celebrated a shared love of reading but also strengthened friendships across year groups, with Year 6 pupils acting as caring role models while inspiring EYFS children to develop a lifelong love of books.
